Documenting things, but I really knew I wanted to pursue a career in photography when I was pregnant with our first baby, our Emma Joy. I realized how hard it was to find a photographer that treated my inquiry as more than just an opportunity for income, but that truly enjoyed what they did, and was willing to go the extra mile to capture those real, authentic moments.

 And on top of that someone that wanted to keep it simple… I really just wanted pure, clean images that captured us in a genuine way. So from there, I started applying what I knew I wanted in a photographer, and found out quickly that I wasn’t alone.
